Cyclocity stations are adapted to each city’s needs(11/10/2011)
Cyclocity stations are easily adapted to meet each city’s specific needs in terms of the urban landscape and accessibility, maintenance and safety requirements. The location of each station is carefully designed to meet these different criteria.
Cyclocity blends into the cityscape and is designed to enhance the urban environment. The size and shape of the Cyclocity bikes were designed for the safety and comfort of users as well as pedestrians' needs.
Stations which are adaptable in time and space
The number of docking points and their arrangement vary according to where the station is located. Space is optimised on an individual basis.
The stations evolve and their size can be adapted over time to meet users’ needs.
Cyclocity stations fit in well with city-dwellers’ daily lives and their urban environment. Large, small, in the shape of a semi-circle or over two rows…. anything is possible!
The docking points are spaced out to avoid inconveniencing people with limited mobility or with buggies. The bikes and stands are easily noticeable by the visually impaired..
